See New Articles Published In Integrative Medicine Insights on Tumblr

Libertas Academica has been recently begun using the image-focused social media site Tumblr to publicise new articles and other news.

Benefits of Tumblr

Through Tumblr readers are updated when new articles are published in Integrative Medicine Insights that contain interesting or unusual images, and are linked directly to the article through the Libertas Tumblr webpage. A once-weekly summary of articles published is also provided.

What is Tumblr?

Tumblr was founded in 2007 with the aim to be easy to use and allow high quality videos and photographs to be easily uploaded and viewed. Since then it has been highly successful, breaking into the top 10 most popular social media sites.

Tumblr is one of the largest and fastest growing social networking sites in America. It attracts around 13.5 million visitors every month and has received over 5 billion posts to date.

Why is Tumblr Unique?

Tumblr is unlike other social media because it focuses on vision and sound posts instead of text. Almost all posts on Tumblr include a photograph, drawing, video, or auditory clip. This makes Tumblr an ideal medium for Libertas to promote new articles that feature unusual and appealing images.

New Author Testimonial for Evolutionary Bioinformatics

Libertas recently received a testimonial from Evolutionary Bioinformatics author Dr Laura Boykin, from Lincoln University in New Zealand

In her testimonial Dr Boykin writes:

The team at Evolutionary Bioinformatics were fantastic in everyway. They were very accesible and helped with all aspects of getting the paper published in a timely fashion. The immediate online help option avaliable through the website is a great option.

We ask for authors to provide testimonials of their experience working with Libertas so that we have feedback on the quality of service we provide and so we can offer new authors an insight as to what it is like to publish in Libertas' journals.
