Libertas is delighted to announce that the number of article views on the Libertas website has now exceeded 6 million!
This milestone represents a huge achievement for Libertas as articles have only been available online since 2005, although the majority of articles were published in the past two years, equating to an average of more than 1 million article views per year.
There are 2,492 articles available to read and download, equating to an average of 2,414 views per article.
This tremendous rate of viewing is partly thanks to the quality of manuscripts accepted for publication in Libertas journals, and partly due to the extensive indexing we have created for our journals. We work with over 40 external indexes and directories to maximize the online visibility for all of our articles.
All of our articles and journals are open access, meaning they are available for anyone to view and download for free without restriction. Open access article visibility is not limited by journal subscription rates, so articles published this way have a greater chance of being seen.
Articles are also hosted on external indexes such as Pubmed. The significant additional visibility offered by Pubmed is not included in our visibility factors, but provides a substantial margin of additional visibility.
