Author Interview with Dr Patrizio Tatti

Please describe your experience with Libertas Academica

I appreciated your continuous support. I was regularly updated on the progression of my paper.

What is the primary focus of your research?

Diabetes nutrition.

What are the most exciting developments arising from current research in your area?

The effect of medical nutrition therapy on the healing of diabetic neuropathic ulcers.

Who are your main collaborators? Please describe your work with them

Dr Giuseppe Pipicelli: work on nutrition and diabetes. Dr Felice Strollo: work on obesity, technology and therapy.

How did you come to be working in your research area?

I had an interest from a young age.

What do you think about the development of open access publishing? What motivated you to use it?

The possibility of making my work immediately available to everybody.
