Call for papers for Nutrition and Metabolic Insights from Dr Dexter Canoy

The knowledge base in nutrition and metabolism is rapidly expanding. New and exciting findings are helping shape a better understanding of the relation between nutrition and metabolic processes across molecular, cellular and organismal levels. But to keep at pace with the rapid expansion and advancement in this research field can be very challenging. Sharing our scientific ideas and findings can be rather slow as the editorial and publication process in older journals takes time. Traditional publication methods can sometimes be costly and can put a limit as to what, and how much, information that we can report.

These factors may form a barrier in how we can share to a wider audience our latest findings more promptly and with more depth. I invite you to consider publishing your latest research work in all aspects of nutrition and metabolism in Nutrition and Metabolic Insights and help further accelerate the advancement of our scientific knowledge in this research field.

What is the advantage to you of publishing in Nutrition and Metabolic Insights?
  • Full open access: everyone can read your article and you retain copyright in it
  • Publishing decision within 2 weeks of submission
  • Your paper will not be rejected due to lack of space and will be published immediately on acceptance
  • Prompt and fair peer review from two expert peer reviewers

  • Friendly responsive staff
Aims and scope:

What a previous author said:
"The communication between your staff and me has been terrific. Whenever progress is made with the manuscript, I receive notice. Quite honestly, I've never had such complete communication with a journal."
In summary:

The advantages of a younger journal such as Nutrition and Metabolic Insights are numerous but in essence allow us a greater flexibility and responsiveness to authors and readers that older journals cannot match.

Next steps:

Yours sincerely,
Dr Dexter Canoy
