As we aim to provide a vibrant forum for the development of novel concepts and ideas in cellular communication, I ask you to submit original research articles as well as reviews and perspectives on all aspects of intra- and intercellular signaling mechanisms. A special focus of Cell Communication Insights lies on the interchange between well-established groups and up-and-coming labs. Therefore, I especially want to encourage early career scientists to submit their work for publication.
The scope of the journal covers a broad spectrum of topics including molecular, immunological and diagnostic aspects of signal transduction mechanisms. I am particularly interested in receiving submissions that provide novel insights into cellular communication events mechanistically involved in diseases.
Once you submit a manuscript to Cell Communication Insights, you will find that, while a rigorous peer-review process with at least two reviewers per manuscript is implemented, we keep the processing time at a minimum. Another major benefit of using Cell Communication Insights to communicate your work is that all accepted papers are freely available to everyone, thanks to our Open Access approach.
I am looking forward to receiving your submission to Cell Communication Insights in the near future.
What is the advantage to you of publishing in Cell Communication Insights?
- Full open access: everyone can read your article and you retain copyright in it
- Publishing decision within 2 weeks of submission
- Your paper will not be rejected due to lack of space and will be published immediately on acceptance
- Prompt and fair peer review from two expert peer reviewers
- Frequent updates on your paper’s status
- Friendly responsive staff
"The communication between your staff and me has been terrific. Whenever progress is made with the manuscript, I receive notice. Quite honestly, I've never had such complete communication with a journal."In summary:
The advantages of a younger journal such as Cell Communication Insights are numerous but in essence allow us a greater flexibility and responsiveness to authors and readers that older journals cannot match.
Next steps:
- Visit the journal's home page (full open access to all articles)
- Get a manuscript in preparation approved for peer review
- Submit a manuscript now (fast 3-step submission process)
- Send me an inquiry
Yours sincerely,
